'The devil can't steal his soul': Friends, fans and musicians react to Charlie Daniels' death

Country music legend Charlie Daniels died Monday morning at age 83, and shortly after fans and celebrities began expressing their condolences.
Daniels, who lived in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, died after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. His death was confirmed by his publicist, Don Murry Grubbs. 
"This #Legend @CharlieDaniels was at the core of my roots & influences in music," singer and songwriter Billy Ray Cyrus tweeted. "We recorded "Just As I Am" together for his Grammy winnin Gospel Album. "Oh lamb of God I come...I come" sings the hymn. An honor to call him my friend. Fiddle’s gonna be roarin in heaven tonight."
